Handmade American Bison and Canvas Bushcraft Foraging Pouch with para cord bungee closure.

Our Foraging Pouches were created to be an additional pocket for your expeditions. Use them while gathering edibles, mushrooms, rocks, feathers for fishing flies, fire starting materiel, and much more. Our superior design means that the bag is fully covered when not in use. The hand cut American Bison leather pouch goes on your belt (up to 2” wide) with two sturdy antique brass snaps so it is easy to put on and off. The bag is made of waxed canvas which is water resilient and rugged. The bag measures 8” across 9.5” deep and is field tan color. The leather is a mahogany American Bison with a beautiful grain that immediately looks vintage and only gets better with use. This traditional bushcraft item folds into a size of 4” x 4” and is snapped closed. You can leave the top open and when you are done you can gather the top with the para cord and cinch closure.

Martexin Original Wax is a highly specialized textile that precludes normal cleaning. Just as you wouldn't wash a leather product such as shoes, gloves, or jackets, you won’t be able to wash or dry clean your Martexin Original Wax. Wax fabrics have been successfully used for many years without washing. A periodic cleaning with a hose, damp cloth is all that is needed. Bare areas can be refinished with Martexin Original Wax refinishing compound which can help restore the wax finish.

Each foraging pouch is designed, created, and assembled in our small shop in colorful Colorado, USA. No two foraging pouches are exactly alike but all are made with great care and the intent that the item will be with you for a long time. Slight imperfections are part of the charm. This is a great item that will be passed down for generations.
